An Introduction to Alchemy
No two potions are the same. Explore the far reaches of the realm to collect ingredients and bring them back to your shop to try new combinations. Dried herbs yield different results than fresh ones, and different combinations of ingredients produce different effects. As you discover new potions, the recipe will be saved in your notebook for future reference. Keep your shop supplied with your latest creations and prepare for weekly inspector visits; they will check that your shop meets the various needs of your customers. Stock up on potions to handle rush hours, doubling your sales. If you’re daring, consider haggling with a few customers for extra coins along the way. Most importantly, avoid leaving your shop unattended, as it could tarnish your reputation!

Your potion shop is positioned outside a lively town, so be sure to explore all the village has to offer! Lend a helping hand in side quests, where you’ll encounter quirky townsfolk and bizarre requests. Fulfill orders for night-vision elixirs and Goblin Gut Soothers to increase your reputation among the townsfolk. In addition to learning more about your clientele, uncover the secrets left behind by the former owner and his trusty assistant of your old, dusty potion shop that once sat empty. When you’re ready to return to work, spruce up your space with decorations to brighten your dwelling and carpentry additions to add onto your space. Don’t forget to stop at the alchemy shop, where you will spend most of your time expanding your collection of tools, such as new mortars, distillers, and cauldrons, to continue improving your potions!
